Switch to keep light steady “on” was not able to be moved on all lights received. I had to use a small screwdriver or knife blade to get the switch to move. After several times of moving the switch on and off to loosen it up it worked fine.I bought this as a neuro nurse to check pupils. But since it came with a few, I have one everywhere! On my key chain, my dog’s tag, etc. love that it’s so small and efficient to useLove the size and brightness of these mini flashlights. Perfect for purse or keyring. Cannot speak to battery life as I just got them today.This is perfect for extra light on keychain!Bright light, lightweight, but continuous on switch VERY hard to moveThey are only about 15-20 lumens each, but they work more than well enough for my purposes. I needed a cheap lightweight light for my work belt keychain, but didn’t want to get a more expensive one due to the type of work I do. They aren’t bulletproof by any means, but they can take a beating.I have one on each of my keychains.I work nights at a hospital and this works great. I attached it to the back of my badge. I like the ability to turn it off and on continuously or to just use it quickly with a squeeze.Nice low cost keychain lights that I just received so I can't speak on reliability and battery? longevity, but I love the colors and the brightness ? of the LED will not disappoint.They can light a nice path for their relative size, but they can also save a life.Do you ever adjust your thermostat during the day when everything is light and airy and you can see the LCD/eInk screen and the buttons?? Yeah, me neither. No, the time I need to change settings is in the middle of the night when it's either too warm or more likely too cold to conduct the business of sleeping.But my thermostat is in a long hall that's inconveniently far away from light at either end. The solution, these mini lights. The lights were cheap (and there was more than one meaning the lifespan was going to be reasonable given the single use ... thus far). Given there wasn't a really flat shelf-like place to put the light, despite it's size and lack of heft, I just attached a simple prong-like hook to the side of thermostat and the light hangs off of it via it's key-chain ring. Perfect solution.I'm sure I'll have other places and jobs where these little lights will serve a purpose. I have a lot of sensor lights at the floor level to turn on AND TURN OFF when I wonder the halls of the house. But it's completely different having lights at a higher level. Or that's MY esthetic at least. Every one of the lights I got worked. I didn't pay a lot. And the light currently in use solves an aggravating problem. I believe we have a five star review here.I bought this set of lights for my kids - they have a paper route, and since they are often delivering in the dark, these come in handy. They have them on the zippers of their coats, so they can just reach up and press it on when they need it, instead of fumbling with a regular flashlight and trying to hold their clipboards and pens etc as well. If left on, it also works as a safety light - they are really bright, so it makes the kids easier to see when they're near the road. We've found a second similar use - walking the dog at night or early in the morning when it's dark, these provide enough light (again hands-free on your coat zipper) to see where you are walking. We often walk in a wooded area without any lights around, and this provides a great gentle spotlight for a few feet around where our feet and the dog. I only gave it 4 stars because the little ring that attaches the light to the larger key-ring isn't closed tight. After using these for a few weeks, the small rings opened and the light fell off. Fortunately, we found the lights, and reattached them, tightly clamping the little ring shut. This happened to 5 of the lights. Otherwise, they are great, but be sure to tighten up that little ring.I'm a big fan of this size of mini light . I have bough more expensive brands of this style in the past and the quality is inconsistent so when I found theses for a lot less I felt they were a better gamble . They are so small you can always have them with your keys and not add bulk to your pocket yet they are surprisingly bright . The 'stay on' switch is a bit difficult to use but most of the time I just use the 'press on' feature . Buy theses , they make great gifts for everyone in the family .I bought these basically cause my 3 year old daughter is obsessed with the colour purple and loves flashlights. They are very light and would make a perfect addition to a keychain but we basically just have them all over for use as toys or if we lose power. They are extremely bright…one of them is bright enough to light up a room!Excellent product. Small, light weight, reliable switch mechanism, and melt-your-eyeballs bright. There is a bright spot beam and lesser brightness omni-directional light as well (which might be a problem for some applications.) Very good value.
