I've been looking for one of these for a long time. This works by pulling / pushing a section of the lamp with an external lens. Doing so adjusts the width of the light beam. I have not done careful measurements, but it feels like a 30 degree beam on the narrowest setting. This is not a pinpoint spot and does not claim to be. But it definitely allows you to adjust the width of the light beam, particularly for fairly short distances such as 1 to 15 feet. Beyond that and the beam becomes quite wide.The adjustment holds (some products slip with use).We use two of these to project towards some artwork.Well constructed.
