The box took a beating in transit, but the contents survived the trip.I had the identical fan/light that I bought back in 2011 and the fan motor died. I was able to simply take the motor unit from the new fan and replace the old one without having to replace the entire assembly. That saved me a huge amount of time and aggravation. Once installed, the new fan is quieter and stronger than the old one. Hoping that this new one lasts as long and is still available for years to come ........ so I can do the same thing again if necessary :-) The LED bulbs are decent quality and are dimmable. My light and fan are wired separately.
